骨架材料是按钢丝绳芯输送带的强度规格而选用不同直径、不同结构的钢丝绳。目前，钢丝绳芯输送带的钢丝绳有镀铜、镀锌两种，由于镀铜钢丝绳容易锈蚀，使钢丝绳芯输送带的使用寿命缩短。因此，选用镀锌钢丝绳作骨架材料。输送带用钢丝绳的结构按标准有6×7+IWS、6×19+ IWS、6×19W+IWS3种。
The skeleton material is the steel wire rope with different diameter and structure selected according to the strength specification of the steel wire rope core conveyor belt. At present, there are two kinds of steel wire rope of steel wire rope core conveyor belt: copper plating and zinc plating. Because copper plating steel wire rope is easy to rust, the service life of steel wire rope core conveyor belt is shortened. Therefore, galvanized steel wire rope is selected as the skeleton material. According to the standard, there are three kinds of steel wire rope structures for conveyor belt: 6 × 7 + IWS, 6 × 19 + IWS and 6 × 19W + IWS.
